Finding a Program
- Search the listing of all available 亚博官方网站 Education Abroad Programs .
- Narrow your search by program category, department, college, location, term, etc.
- Review the detailed program page featuring information about courses, dates, cost, contact information, location, and more. Be sure to look over the details thoroughly!
- Apply to your chosen program by clicking the 鈥淎pply Now鈥� button on page in the top left. Be sure to fill out the application in full and read all instructions to be considered.
Program Categories

Faculty-Led
Faculty-led programs are conducted by 亚博官方网站 faculty and are designed for 亚博官方网站 students. Programs can be 1 to 7 weeks long and are primarily offered during the summer. By completing a program in the summer, you can get ahead on courses for required general education or major specific areas. These programs have set itineraries designed around the 亚博官方网站 courses offered. They also usually include a 鈥減rogram fee鈥� that includes accommodations, some meals, excursions, and more. -
Exchange
亚博官方网站 has partnered with institutions around the world to offer reciprocal immersive exchange programs. Exchanges are semester or year-long experiences where 亚博官方网站 students can study at a partner institution abroad and, in exchange, a student from the partner institution can study at 亚博官方网站. As part of the exchange program, students pay their normal tuition and fees for full-time enrollment to 亚博官方网站 but take their courses at the partner institution. Most courses are taught in English. These programs allow students to be immersed in a new culture while earning 亚博官方网站 credit toward graduation.

Affiliate
Affiliate programs are through various 亚博官方网站 partners that offer various types of experiences that can be group travel or individual travel. These include specific organizations that 亚博官方网站 has agreements with and some programs through other USG schools. Students earn transfer credit through affiliate programs.

Directed Study
Directed Study/Research Abroad Projects are one-time, individualized projects that student can design and complete in conjunction with a 亚博官方网站 faculty member. These projects are not limited to any major and can be completed by students who gain approval from their academic department. -
International Internships
Internships abroad are self-directed experiences that may be more challenging than other education abroad opportunities. They may be with a Faculty supervisor, through a 亚博官方网站 affiliate, with a company you were hired by, or through a third-party study abroad organization. You will be responsible for finding the internship and getting approval from Career Planning & Development. You may be responsible for arranging your own living and working conditions as well as getting your credit approved by your department. -
Non-亚博官方网站 (Outgoing Transient)
If you have not been able to find a program that fits your needs at 亚博官方网站, you may consider participating in a study abroad program that is not sponsored by 亚博官方网站. This can include programs offered by other U.S. universities, companies that specifically offer study abroad programs, or becoming an enrolled student in a college or university abroad. Note that these programs tend to be more expensive and credit may not be able to transfer to 亚博官方网站.
