I applied to be an RA because I enjoy helping others and giving them the resources
they need to be successful. This job also helps me strengthen my skills in leadership
and management. My favorite part about being an RA is talking with my residents, learning
new things about them and knowing I am being a good resource for them

I applied to be a Resident Assistant because of the influence my junior year RA, Brandon,
had on me. My favorite part about being an RA is the opportunity I have to be a mentor
and coach in a similar fashion.
Sean
Junior
I applied to be an RA because as a resident my RAs are what made living on campus
feel like home. My favorite part of being an RA is being able to create events that
residents can come to and meet new people. I enjoy seeing them meet other residents
and find their "clique" because that's what I wanted when I was a resident.
