Public Health Intern

This internship is designed to be an in-person, on site internship. The intern will assist in the coordination and facilitation of health education programs for ÑDz©¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ Health Promotion and Wellness. This internship is available to undergraduate and graduate students in Public Health and Public Health Education majors. Student interns will have the opportunity to assist in the planning and implementation of health education programs in addition to working closely with the peer health education program housed within the department.

    Sherry Grable joined Health Promotion and Wellness in January of 1997 from the Butler County Health Department in southeast Missouri where she served as a multi-county health educator. Sherry has been in the health promotion field for over 20 years. She holds BS degree from Southeast Missouri State University in health management with an emphasis in health promotion and minors in exercise science and marketing. She completed her M.Ed. in Health Promotion and Behavior with concentration in community health from the University of Georgia in 2001.
