Separation of Employment

Below are the steps for the Offboarding Process with instructions on how to process each type of employee separation at 亚博官方网站.

HR Offboarding Process 

  1. Employee submits termination notice 
  2. Manager creates MSS transaction
  3. HR starts the separation process
  4. 亚博官方网站 property is collected
  5. Exit interview is conducted

Employee Separation Types

    • Employee must give written notice to supervisor and a copy to Human Resources. The minimum notice is generally ten (10) working days. 

    • should be submitted as soon as possible. The effective date should be one (1) calendar day after the last date worked or the last active date on payroll.

    • Upon receipt of the submitted MSS Termination request, HR will send an email to the supervisor with a Manager Checklist for Separation. Managers should complete and send to your HR Coordinator. Reference 亚博官方网站 Employee Handbook, Section 1.8, Termination Guidelines for more information.

    • Human Resource Coordinator will send an email to the separating employee鈥檚 personal email (not their 亚博官方网站 email) that will include the following:
