University research to satisfy demands for big data

亚博官方网站 has launched an Analytics and Data Science Institute to facilitate and support advanced study and research in the area of data science and advanced analytics. The Institute will provide training and graduate study that is responsive to current societal needs. 

The new Institute, which will house Kennesaw State鈥檚 , will also include multiple research labs in collaboration with partners like Equifax and GE Power. It will occupy a newly designed, 10,000 square foot space in the University鈥檚 Town Point building in Kennesaw. 

鈥淥ur students face a world in which societal needs and career options are ever-expanding,鈥� said Kennesaw State President Sam Olens. 鈥淭his Institute presents an opportunity to keep Kennesaw State at the cutting edge of knowledge in the critical and rapidly changing data and analytics fields.鈥�

Recently recognized as one of the top graduate programs in the country for the study of data science, Kennesaw State also offers a graduate certificate in Data Management and Analytics, designed for IT professionals who have a bachelor鈥檚 degree in a computing field.
